Simple Corporate Resource Solutions Limited was established in 2006 with an aim to provide bespoke Employment Law and Human Resources services and advice to small and medium sized enterprises (SME's) across Scotland in an efficient and cost effective manner. Now operating from Dundee and Aberdeen, we advise a wide range of companies on all human resources issues. 

 

SCRSolutions Ltd is proud to be a finalist in the highly prestegious Aberdeen Northern Star Business Awards.  We are current finalists in the Best Use of ICT 2009 category. 

We were also finalist for 2 business awards with Women Ahead, Dundee.  These were Young Entreprenurial Company 2008 and Shining Star Award 2008.

Jeni McCabe - Human Resource Consultant, Chartered MCIPD Jeni McCabe SCRS

Jeni has extensive experience in both the private and public sectors.  After starting in retail, she moved in to Human Resources & Development with Dundee College where she gain experience in a wide range of human resources and learning & development issues. 

 

She undertook project work in the areas of Absence Management, Learning & Development and Recruitment & Selection.  Most recently, Jeni has worked with a large private sector company as Human Resource & Training Manager.  This allowed her to gain human resources managerial experience and develop her employment law skills.  Projects undertaken during this employment  include Disciplinary Porcedures, Employee Motivation and Information and Communications.  

 

Since starting SCRSolutions Ltd, Jeni has been able to put her experience to use and has helped businesses, small and large, in a whole range of human resources and employment issues, including preparing and implementing staff handbooks, on-site support for disciplinaries and grievances and delivering training to business owners and managers to keep them up to date with Employment Law and HR practices. 

 

Jeni is dedicated to keeping up to date with employment legislation and current human resource issues and best practice via a range of resources.  She is also a member of the CIPD Tayside Committee.

 

 

Lesley Walker - Business Support ServicesLesley Walker

Lesley Walker has a background in business support, having most recently worked as a Business Growth Adviser with Business Gateway in Fife.  She worked closely with MDs in order to support company development work, offer advice and guidance as well as helping to formulate strategy.

 

Prior to this she worked within the Business Growth Team at Scottish Enterprise Tayside, prospecting for companies with growth potential as well as implementing their Segmentation policy across the region.

 

She also has an extensive background in training and development having initially worked as an Assessor delivering national programmes.  Following this, she joined Scottish Enterprise within their Learning & Skills directorate where she contract managed local training providers and Colleges.

 

She was also Chairman of the Stobswell Education and Recreation Association offering evening classes to adults and children at this time.

 

Since starting up in business, she has continued to work closely with business owners, offering a variety of support services via Walker et al.  Services include one-to-one mentoring and coaching for SMEs, surveys, telephone polls and focus group work as well as specialist expertise for companies submitting proposals for tenders.

 

An active member of BNI she believes that extensive networking and building stong working relationships with others is key to sustaining success and recently won the Small Business Club’s Best Networker of the Year Award 2008.

 

She holds a Degree in Management (Distinction), Diploma in Business Advice and Counselling, various Training and Assessment Qualifications as well as formal training in facilitation work.
