holiday entitlements What is the minimum amount of holiday entitlement for a full-time employee? The statutory minimum is 28 days a year including pubilc or bank holidays. How do I calculate holiday entitlements? Calculations can be done in days or hours. Hourly calculaitons may be easier or shift or irregular workers. For full-time workers, holidays are calculated at the rate of 2.33 days for each full month worked. Pro-rata for part-time workers and staff that start or leave part-way through the holiday year. Holiday entitlemet can be rounded up to the nearest day or half day, but cannot be rounded down. For casual workers, you can calculate holiday entitlement based on 12.07% for each full hour worked.
